Baccarat is a game of chance. The goal is to bet on which hand will have a value closest to 9. Cards 2-9 are worth face value, 10s and face cards are worth 0, and Aces are worth 1.
How to Play
- Select a chip value by clicking on a chip from the chip selection area
- Place your bet on Player, Banker, or Tie by clicking on the corresponding betting area
- Click the "Deal" button to start the game
- Two cards are dealt to both the Player and Banker hands
- Card values are added together, and only the last digit counts (e.g., 15 becomes 5)
- A third card may be drawn based on specific rules (see below)
- The hand with a total closest to 9 wins
- Winning bets are automatically paid out and added to your balance
Betting Options & Payouts
- Player (1:1) - Bet on the Player hand to win
- Banker (0.95:1) - Bet on the Banker hand to win (5% commission)
- Tie (8:1) - Bet that the Player and Banker hands will tie
Card Values
- Cards 2-9 are worth their face value
- 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are worth 0
- Aces are worth 1
- Only the last digit of the total is used (e.g., 15 = 5)
Third Card Rules
Player's Hand
- If Player has 0-5: Player draws a third card
- If Player has 6-7: Player stands
- If Player has 8-9: Natural - both hands stand
Banker's Hand
- If Banker has 0-2: Banker always draws
- If Banker has 3-6: Banker's action depends on Player's third card
- If Banker has 7: Banker stands
- If Banker has 8-9: Natural - both hands stand
Tips for Playing
- The Banker bet has a slightly lower house edge (1.06%) than the Player bet (1.24%)
- The Tie bet has a much higher house edge (14.36%) - it's generally not recommended
- You don't need to understand all the third card rules - they're applied automatically
- Baccarat is purely a game of chance with no skill element
- Set a budget before you start playing and stick to it
